Our Company

Empowering women is an essential first step on the road to more just and resilient societies. Many women in the Asia and the Pacific region have limited access to resources, education and finance. They are side-lined in decision-making processes, disproportionately impacted by disasters and are increasingly vulnerable to exploitation & violence. Through a combination of advocacy, training and interventions, we are helping women realise their rights.

At Lakshmi Enterprises Since 2023, we have been working with a regional approach in India to support alternative livelihoods for women, while advocating for greater policy influence.

LEXA and Woman Empowerment

Empowerment

Lakshmi enterprises is a company, working for underprivileged communities for
education, health and empowerment of women, especially with girls and women.
Lakshmi enterprises has been working with the people from marginalized
communities since its inception, who are vulnerable to exploitation within the
complex socio-political environment. The goal of the organization is to establish an
inclusive and classless living environment in which all poor citizens, especially the
marginalized, children and women, have access to education, health, safe livelihood
opportunities and vital public services regardless of their economic and social status.

A group of women prepares high quality, low-cost sanitary napkin and these napkins
are also sold by women themselves. This approach makes sanitary napkins both
accessible and affordable to women and by women in these rural areas and also gives
comfort to buy it from a female seller. Simultaneously this program encourages
women empowerment and helps them achieve whatever they have dreamed of,
menstruation not being a hindrance anymore.
